Discover the enchanting world of "L' été Indien," an exhibition featuring four contemporary artists whose diverse works redefine the boundaries of artistic expression.

Pascal Vilcollet: Embark on a visual journey through the mysterious light of twilight and the ascending sun in Pascal Vilcollet's non-figurative paintings. Born in 1979 and based in Paris, Vilcollet carefully curates elements in his large canvases, creating a unique blend of expressionism and abstraction. His interplay of perspectives, memories, symbols, and colors draws viewers into a vivid and textured world.

Guillaume Linard-Osorio: Architect-turned-artist Guillaume Linard-Osorio explores the transformation and visibility of construction materials in his work. Born in 1978 and splitting his time between Paris and Toulouse, Linard-Osorio focuses on the intrinsic meaning of materials, reassembling them to reconsider cultural and social connections. His art challenges our relationship with the world through thought-provoking material experiments.

Simon Demeuter: Join Simon Demeuter, born in 1991 in Paris, on a quest for bold simplification of form in his paintings. Demeuter uses color as his primordial tool, evoking emotions and referencing diverse art forms like Folk Art, Impressionism, cinema, and music. Seemingly trivial objects become catalysts for entire painting series, showcasing Demeuter's relentless exploration and pursuit of the essence of feeling.

Thomas Trum: Witness the intersection of art and design in the oeuvre of Thomas Trum, born in 1989 and based in the Netherlands. Trum's unconventional methods involve material research, using tools like a road-marking machine and a massive felt tool. His captivating array of colors and intriguing play of minimalism result in breathtaking large-scale works, marked by laborious experimentation and euphoric expressions of color, depth, and pattern.

"L' été Indien" invites you to delve into the rich tapestry of these artists' creations, each offering a unique lens through which to experience the dynamic and ever-evolving world of contemporary art. Join us in celebrating the beauty of diverse perspectives and the boundless possibilities of artistic expression.
